Depending on what you do, this may include your name, email address, mailing address, phone number, and the content of any message you send us. If you make a donation, you also provide payment information, which is handled by our donation processor as described below.

Information we collect automatically.

When you visit the Site, we and our service providers automatically collect certain technical information, which may include your IP address, browser type, device type, the pages you view, the site or search term that referred you to us, and the dates and times of your visits. We collect this information using cookies and similar technologies (see Cookies and Analytics below).

How Donations Are Processed

Donations are processed through Givebutter, our third-party donation platform. When you give, the payment details you enter (such as your card information) are collected and processed by Givebutter under its own privacy policy.

AMH Partners does not receive or store your full payment card number. We do receive the information needed to record and acknowledge your gift, such as your name, contact details, and donation amount, so that we can send receipts and thank you for your support.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Process, record, and acknowledge donations, and provide tax receipts
• Respond to your questions, requests, and messages
• Send you email updates and newsletters, where you have asked to receive them
• Understand how the Site is used so we can improve it
• Protect the security and integrity of the Site
• Comply with our legal and reporting obligations

How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in these limited circumstances:

• Service providers. We share information with trusted organizations that help us operate, including our donation processor (Givebutter), our website hosting platform, our email delivery provider (Resend), and our analytics providers. These providers may only use your information to perform services for us.
• Legal reasons. We may disclose information when required by law, in response to a valid legal request, or where we believe it is necessary to protect the rights, safety, or property of AMH Partners, our donors, or others.

Cookies and Analytics

Our website hosting platform may use cookies that are necessary for the Site to function and may provide us with aggregate information about Site traffic. We may also use additional analytics tools, such as Google Analytics, to understand how visitors use the Site.

You can control cookies through your browser settings, including blocking or deleting them, though some parts of the Site may not work properly if you do. Please note that we do not currently respond to "Do Not Track" signals from browsers.

Your Choices and Rights

Email.

You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the link at the bottom of any message we send. We may still contact you about donations you have made, such as sending a receipt.

Access, correction, and deletion.

You can ask us to review, update, or delete the personal information we hold about you by contacting us at connect@amhpartners.org. We will respond as required by applicable law. In some cases we may need to keep certain information to meet legal, accounting, or reporting requirements.

California and other U.S. state residents.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights regarding your personal information, such as the right to know what we collect and the right to request deletion. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at connect@amhpartners.org.

EU and UK residents.

If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal information. Note that we are based in the United States, and your information will be processed there. To make a request, contact us at connect@amhpartners.org.

Data Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect the personal information we hold. However, no method of transmitting or storing information over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Data Retention

We keep your personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes described in this policy, including to acknowledge your support and to meet our legal, tax, and reporting obligations. When we no longer need your personal information, we take reasonable steps to delete or anonymize it, unless we are required or permitted by law to retain it.

Children's Privacy
